The Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s inventory of collection units is maintained by Tony Gulati using Cass Works software. Collection data is updated in Cass Works at the time of the route audit. Once updated, the data is exported from Cass Works into an Excel spreadsheet for the given route. These spreadsheets serve as the master source data for this project. The source data was delivered on 08/01/2018, therefore any route audits performed after this date will require an update to the data. Supplemental data for this project also includes an Excel spreadsheet of addresses representing those collection units that are currently identified in the route books as ‘Apartments in Dwellings’. This categorization is not captured in the standard route book spreadsheets above but rather is maintained separately in the aforementioned spreadsheet.
